Ask is a discourse field in which students from the three participating universities (UE Berlin, HSD Düsseldorf, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design) formulate questions that interest them personally in relation to Jewish life in Germany.
In order to counteract stereotypical representations, we would like to include as many diverse cultural and personal perspectives as possible. The questions will be printed on index cards and could be kind of an inspiration and starting point for the people we would like to interview in the project.
From the conversations, other relevant terms can gradually be added to the card set – a repertoire of terms is formed that indicates the current discourse on Jewish life in Germany.
